Warhammer 40K Music Composer — Cinematic Industrial Orchestral
I compose fan‑made, Warhammer 40,000–inspired music that captures the grandeur, horror, and tragic heroism of the 41st millennium. My signature blend—industrial percussion, distorted low brass, ritual choirs, and sci‑fi synthesis—delivers cinematic structure and grimdark texture in equal measure. Whether you’re scoring a fan film, a lore video, or game content, I write cues that move with the narrative: clear thematic identity, controlled dynamics, and edit‑ready stems for fast workflows.

Why Warhammer 40k?
What drew me to Warhammer 40k is the sheer scale of its universe and the complex narratives that unfold within it. From legendary Primarchs to momentous battles, the universe is filled with iconic characters, powerful moments, and incredible twists. It’s almost impossible not to find inspiration from such a rich lore.
The music I create for this universe try to reflect its grimdark aesthetic. It’s a world where everything is inevitable, but the emotional weight of those moments is staggering. The grandeur of Warhammer 40k resonates with me on many levels, blending elements of Greek mythology, medieval chivalry, and dystopian science fiction.
Key Musical Projects Inspired by Warhammer 40k
Some of my most significant compositions are inspired by pivotal moments and characters in the Warhammer 40k universe. Below are a few examples of my work:
Fulgrim: From Primarch to Daemon Prince
MARAVIGLIA PT.1
The Duel Between Loken and Abaddon
This piece captures the tragic arc of Fulgrim, from his glorious beginnings as one of the Emperor’s most favored sons to his eventual fall into the clutches of Slaanesh. The music evolves alongside his story, transitioning from heroic themes to darker, more twisted melodies as corruption takes hold.
Inspired by Bequa Kynska’s infamous symphony that unleashed Chaos upon Fulgrim’s legion, this piece was a collaborative effort with Clara Koszegi, a wonderful Canadian opera singer. The lyrics were written in Italian to capture the grandeur and operatic nature of the event. This composition blends chaos, beauty, and the premise of some future horror in equal measure.
One of the most iconic moments in Warhammer 40k history, this piece reflects the intense rivalry and emotions of the duel. The music builds tension and drama, representing the ultimate clash between two former brothers-in-arms.
This fan-created footage by Syama Pedersen, is one of the most amazing pieces we’ve seen in years within the 40K community. It was this very video that reignited my passion for music and inspired me to start creating soundtracks for the Warhammer 40,000 universe. When I first watched this incredible work, I felt that it was missing the perfect musical accompaniment and sound effects to truly bring it to life. After months of dedicated work, I completed the entire video’s sound design, adding a new dimension to the already stunning visuals. What you’re about to experience is a glimpse into the results of that journey
Reviews
Laer Music Temple
"Oh-my-gods, it is wonderful! It’s strange, but when I was listening to Laer music and the Maraviglia (especially the second part) I felt my heart hurts, but it was a pleasant pain. And when somebody phoned me suddenly and the music stopped, I could hardly understand where I am and who am I. Thank you so much! Your music is amazing."

The Tragedy of Fulgrim: Path of the Phoenician
"Okay this is an absolutely amazing music track! I have been playing Emperor's Children for 7 years in the Horus Heresy, and I had goosebumps all the way through. I think that you have perfectly captured the essence of Fulgrim both before, during, and under his fall to chaos. Amazing work! I love it!"

Overall
"With easily the best composer moniker since Junkie XL, Lester Doyle et al sound like they are in complete control of their orchestral powers. Arranged and mixed impeccably, LD's compositions have the flavors of Zimmer, Silvestri, and even a touch of Elfman, while still being very strongly rooted in modern classical piano. Incredibly well-versed and immensely competent."
