Album Review

Another high-level cinematic orchestral underscore. The track builds nicely on a four-chord progression, utilizing many colors of the orchestra and piano as well as a modernist choir. It then rolls back into a soothing arpeggiated piano section that works as an excellent calming/soothing coda as a finish/close to the intense build. A rise and a fall in many ways. In terms of sync, this would be a great underscore for many types of narrative scenes in film - the piece takes the viewer/listener on an intense ride, and then comfortably brings you back to a calmer, more serene place. What a ride.

Its composition and arrangement are certainly not groundbreaking, but it is clear that the composer is very talented. These kinds of tracks are especially predominant in new-age hero films, where the soundtracks are often grandiose and ultimately fantastic wallpaper for all of the other heavy-handed cinematic elements. Marvel would certainly love this vibe.
